Check It Out

Earlier in the week I updated this blog and added 5 or 6 pages. When I was finished, I did the ol' "view blog" and then had to check out the map and see who & where people were at who were looking at it. I had all of these just while I was posting!!

Can you believe the countries listed??? Occasionally I get a comment from one of them too. Kind of neat, but a little bit freaky too.

Pages 199 & 200

YEAH! I have reached the 200 mark!! WOWZERS!!!

Page 198

I normally make the facing pages match or at least co-ordinate, but this time it just was not working out. I tried many different color combinations and nothing was just right for both sets of photos. So, today it will just have to be different.

Found this page idea on Smilebox, I think. Copying it for a scrapbook page is called 'scraplifting', and is considered a compliment by most of us.

Gonna try using a side opening this time. We'll see how that works out with the page protector...

My papers coordinate for this page and the facing one, but the photos are 2 different topics.

Page 195

This is a single page, but the facing page is done on similar papers in order for it to look more cohesive. They do have different embellishments tho. These are a puffy type bear stickers. Not sure where or when I got them ,but they are perfect for this type page. The large stuffed bear on her left was mine (from her Daddy) from one of our dating Valentine's. I have had it in her crib from the beginning. She snuggles with it occasionally, also uses it to boost herself up a bit higher when she thinks she'd like to climb out...

Pages 193 & 194

Haven't used diagonal cut or torn paper in ages. Thought I'd try it out again.

Pages 191 & 192

Christmas Dress #4

Pages 189 & 190

Here are the 12 pages I completed at last Sat. Crop. This page had no room for journaling on the page, so it has a lg. journaling tag with fibers attached that will slip behind the page. You pull on the fibers and it slides out to read.

So very glad that I am still ahead of the game, as I have been in a bit of a slump this past month! Have almost run out of printed photos and haven't had too much gumption or get-up & go to get busy and get more done.

Martin's Father's Day Card

Went with a different style this time. Got the idea from Cricut.com msg. brds. It is called a "joy fold card". the main pc. is kind of in an "L" shape with another smaller typical card shape, only flipped opposite that is attached so that the plum colored L shaped card and the "DaDa" part kind of interlock. Anyways, you have to lift that "DaDa' part in order to open the flap and see what is written inside. More simple than I've made it sound!
Also, I used a pre-made "Dad" from Cricut and then used my Cricut design software and welded the other "a" onto the end so it woudl make DaDa for Emma.

Pages 179 & 180

I've had the race car stickers used on these pages for so long that they were hardly sticky!! I added adhesive to the backs!

Pages 177 & 178

Steph, used the "FineLine" adhesive on those vellum die cuts and it worked great! Can't see it!

Pages 175 & 176

These 2 goofy pages took me FOR-EVER to get done! I struggled and struggled for what seemed like ever! When we went to pick up lunch I was still stuck on these and they were pages 3 & 4!!! Can you believe it????

Check out the dimensional embellishments. They are perfect for each person they are close to. "Stories told" is by Dad. Photos taken is by Steph & Halie. "Wishes Came True" is by Emma!
