8 Cards Made Yesterday & Today

I made all 8 cards from the scraps from pages #69 & 70 . Other than adding the white cardstock needed to actually make the "card' it was scraps. Some are better than others.
Had one lonely flower leftover from another project long ago. Cut out the Happy BDay on white paper, thinking it was just a test, as I wanted to see just how big it really was. I decided to sponge ink over it before peeling it off the mat and go ahead and use it.

Cricut cutouts made these flowers.

Added tiny rhinestones to the center of some of the flowers on the card on the left. The sentiment is attached with foam dots for dimension.

Had the felt flowers for ages ( & the buttons). Bought at a dollar store, I think. Or Target's One Spot.

Page 88

The "baby" sticker and the butterfly all came from the same pack ($1 at Target). The "S" was cut from Mini Monograms on Cricut. I stitched a pc. of fiber through the stitch marks on that letter S. I cut the title letters to resemble the "sweet' on her shirt.

Pages 86 & 87

It was quite funny when we started working on our pages this past weekend, as my sister had planned a bath page, as well. Now a bath page is not necessarily funny, but we had BOTH planned to do them with lavendar and a soft yellow!! Bath pages are often done with a soft blue and yellow, but we BOTh planned them with lavendar!!!

I had a 99 cent pack of bath embellishments, which is where I got my color scheme from, and the title and extra bubbles are cut from Cricut.

I'll type and add the text on that white rectangle.

Pages 84 & 85

The large plaid paper is meant to mat a 5 x 7 picture someday. I have that print in a frame currently and am not ready for it to be on this page.

THe tiles on the lower left side are plastic charms. The title and journaling will all go on the white block at the top right.
More charms on this page, as well.

Pages 82 & 83

The metal charms are impressed with the word "precious'. The flowers are plastic.

Pages 80 & 81

I used boy colors to coordinate with her shirt (from Grammy), but added flowers to girly it up a bit. This was the first photo shoot of her w/o a headband or hat of some sort!

Pages 78 & 79

The glare of the flash blurs the ducky that is on the edge of that picture.

I did these next 12 pages at our monthly crop this past weekend, thus they have no journaling/text yet. That will get added this week before I move on to other pages!

Two Other Mini Albums I Made

This one was made with the box that my watch came in at Christmas.
I used a sheer ribbon to connect the pages.

Rub On letters for the title.

Every other page is a photo of a grandkid and the following page is a journaling page. Black pages have journaling and white pages have photos. I used small gems to decorate since it was "Nana's Jewels".

You can't see the stamped title, but it is "Papaw's Pride & Joy". This was a box that I had saved for a future project. Below you can see that the box is open on one side and slides out of a sleeve.

I had the exact same shade of purple cardstock and found a sheet of coordinating patterned paper and a few iridescent bug stickers. I used mauve ribbon to connect the pages.

Just Checkin' In

77 pages completed and we are 72 days into the year. So, while I am no longer way out ahead, I am still ahead of the game AND we have a monthly crop coming up next Sat. and you know I will get alot done then.

Mini Album

Here is the last page:
And the first page:

Here is the mini album made for the in-laws: (bought the album in the One Spot at Target)

I guess I'll count 4 of these small pages as 1 page in my count. It didn't take long to make, as I used a pack of coordinating papers bought a year or so ago. So, all of that color choosing was done for me. I pulled out a few embellies and tah! dah! album complete.

I made a mini album for the in-laws this week and took pics, but need to upload them to the pc. AND then decide how do I count them in my total count..... They are each approx. 6 x 7 and I did 18 pages. I'm thinkin' that counting it as another 18 pages is not quite fair, but havent decided what to do. Ideas??/

Pages 72 & 73

This page is actually from the calendar that I made for this year. I made it with the intention of adding a photo or two to each and using it as a scrapbook page.

This months has photos of our January crop held at Stephanies.

Page 2 showing the extra pages in the flip album on the lower left side:

Page 1 showing the hidden journaling inside the flip album. The Cricut was used for the snowflakes & snowman and the Cricut Design Software welded the month name together for easy cutting and gluing.

Page 71

This page was posted earlier w/o the picture. But here it is complete. I can't count it again tho! :(
And the page that goes alongside it:

Pages 69 & 70

2 more honeymoon pages, from Hunting Island Beach, SC:

Real shells that I collected since dating but not necessarily on this day.
I hid my journaling inside one of those flip albums that I make.

Pages 67 & 68

I made these 2 pages as guest sign-in type pages for my Mom's b-day party last weekend.

We did a Mary Englebreit theme and I made these to look like her style. The friends & family wrote wishes or at least signed their name all over the pages.

I have the mats doubled & ready to add photos. They are labeled for the size photo needed. Some of the rose buds are glued on flat and others have a foam dot behind for dimension.

New pages

I did 6 pages today, but haven't got the photos on here yet. We are leaving for dinner soon and it won't get done until later this evening or maybe tomorrow. Check back later.
