Pages 64, 65 & 66

I didn't have the right color flowers, so I mixed up acrylic paints and painted them the closest I could get! :)

This & the following picture, are a 6 inch insert. So, I counted this 6 inch front & 6 inch back as 1 page. Usually you would add the page insert to the outer edge of a page protector, but I took the album apart & added it the center. Adds more bulk to the center, rather than always adding it to the outer edge.

I saved the map of Beaufort and trimmed it down and used that as the interest on the page. I painted the 2 chipboard brackets the same coral color as the flowers. (It draws your attention to the town) The post card was from the inn also. We loved this town and have been there twice.

These photos and the papers laid on my desk all week. I kept going in there and playing around with them and was totally blocked. So, I'd walk away. Next day, try again and no luck. Finally last evening (like 10:00), for some reason I walked into the office and sat down at my desk. I started messing around with them again and bit by bit it came together and before midnight I had 2 pages done. WHEW!!!

More Cards I Have Made

A mix of cards that I have made recently, as well as a few from months ago:

2 of the 8 or 10 Valentine Cards this year: I forgot to get pictures of all of them! Sent more than half of them out before I realized I had not taken a picture!
Not sure why it rotated the picture again! I re-checked and I have it stored the right way around!

Made this one in a CTMH class

And this one

Made this one awhile ago, using scraps from a recipe box project for my sister.

This one has a vellum envelope. You could write or type the address on a separate pc. of paper and slip it inside and let the address show thru OR write it right on the vellum. We'll see...

2 more valentine cards

The top one is using an old pack of dimensional stickers. The lower one used the Cricut to cut out the title and the title shadow.

Viewing Photos

Just remember that you can double click on any photo to enlarge it, thus being able to see the photos or details better. :)

Pages 58 & 59

Pages 55, 56 & 57

Somehow in the upload, blogspot twisted this first photo. Sorry.

Page 56 is actually a 6 inch page that attaches to the normal 12 inch page. I needed more space for honeymoon memorabilia, so I attached an extra 6 inch page protector and made a pocket to hold the Savannah map with all of our notes.

And then on the opposite side I included all of the info, key card, etc... from our spiffy hotel.

Page 54

I'm including this page in here as finished, even though it still needs the photo.

Our monthly crop was at my house this time and I made the beginnings of a scrapbook page for each person. I used my Cricut software and welded their names and cut them out. I added the name and the photo mat and one other heart dangling off of their name. I "stitched" around their names and the dangly heart. Then, as they completed each of their own pages, they got to add another pc. of decoration to this page. (I had a basket of sticker hearts, foam hearts and swirls, as well as a bunch of various sizes and styles of Cricut cut hearts) At the end of the day, we counted how many each had and the winner was the "Queen of the Crop".

They could take their page home and use it as part of a 2 page layout about today's crop. We made sure to take a group photo to be added to the black photo mat.

I added the heart ribbon to mine before the day began and if you count the hearts, you would think that I completed 12 pages that day. Well, I only did 8. Had a headache most of the day and was happy with the 8 that I did do! I told each one to take more hearts to finish off the design they started on their page or to use for the facing page. (Which is why I added a few more to my own)

Our first day as Mr & Mrs Lovejoy!

More of the flip albums, as I want to add all of my photos and not just one or two!

Pages 50 & 51

My journaling is inside/behind the lower left photo, as it is one of the flip albums that I make. the loop of fiber is to lift the page up. It reveals the journaling and another photo.

We made our own unity candle for the wedding ceremony. The ones available at any wedding or craft store were just too weird. They looked like they were from a funky 70's candle shop! So, I bought the stuff and we worked together (unity) to make our own pretty "unity candle". Nifty, huh??

Pages 48 & 49

"Primpin' Girls" is from the day before the wedding, getting our manis & pedis.

Kind of followed a sketch from "52 Sketches 52 Weeks" for this page.

Pages 46 & 47

Whew! Finally the last of the rehearsal dinner pages!
